CURLING MEMBERSHIPS

  
All levels of enthusiasts are welcome at the Galt Country Club, with a variety of leagues that meet throughout the curling season.

Leagues & Schedule
 
Galt Country Club is the home of the 2007 Senior Women's World Silver Medalists skipped by Anne Dunn. Her team's previous accomplishments include the World Senior Women's Championships in 2004 and 2002, Canadian and Ontario Senior Women's Championships in 2006, 2004, 2002 and 2001 as well as representing Ontario in the 2003 Scott Tournament of Hearts.  It is also the home club of Jim Armstrong, the 2014 & 2010 Paralympic Gold Medalist, winner of the 2013, 2011 & 2009 World Wheelchair Championships and who has previously appeared in 6 Briers during the 70's, 80's & 90's.

FULL CURLERS
Single Membership: $635 - Couples Membership: $1140

May participate in a few or as many leagues as they wish and participate in Club Bonspiels. Full Curling memberships also include year round clubhouse privileges and are also granted seven golfing opportunities per season paying the applicable green fees and may bring up to three green fee paying guests each time.

LIMITED CURLERS
Single Membership: $480 - Couples Membership: $775

May play in a maximum of one league per season and participate in Club Bonspiels. (October to December and January to April). Limited Curling members have year round, full use of the Clubhouse.

DAYS ONLY CURLERS
Single Membership: $395

Have full use of the Clubhouse during the curling season and participate in Club Bonspiels.

Students and Youths
Students (ages 19 to 24): $210 - JUNIORS (ages 13 to 18): $140

*all fees are subject to HST. An Annual Curling Capital Improvement Assessment of $35.00 applies to all Adult curlers and will be billed on your Statement each September. O.C.A. Fees - will be billed to all curling members at the time the Galt Country Club receives the association billing

 
 

CURLING LEAGUES


All levels of enthusiasts are welcome at the Galt Country Club, with a variety of leagues that meet throughout the curling season including: Monday Daytime, Men's Monday Night, Women's Tuesday Night, Tuesday Night Major League, Wednesday/Thursday Choose Your Own Competitive, Friday Night Mixed Social.

Monday Daytime - 9:30 am
A fun, social, competitive mixed league. Members sign up and are assigned to a team and position by the Monday Day Team Coordinators on a draw by draw basis. There are three draws throughout the year. Games are from 9:15 am to 11:30 am with the possibility of a second game from 12:30 pm to 2:30pm. Afterwards join your team for lunch up in the Centennial Lounge.

Men's Monday Night - 6:30 pm
Is a men's curling program. It's a social/competitive league. Menber's sign up and are assigned to a team by the Coordinators on a draw by draw basis. Each draw is 7 weeks long and is concluded with a playoff night. If there are more than 10 teams signed up then the league will go to two draws, 6:30 pm & 8:45 pm.
 

Tuesday Daytime Choose Your Own - 9:30 pm
A competitive, choose your own team league. Teh team you form at teh beginning of the season is yor for the entire season.

Tuesday Women's - 6:30 pm
A league for women that emphasizes not only curling buth the social aspects related to curling. Members sign up and are assigned to a team and position by the Coordinator on a draw by draw basis.

Beginners League - 8:30 pm
A mix of instruction and curling.
  
    
Wednesday Night Open Curling - 6:30 pm & 8:45 pm
A choose your own team league open to any club members. We have three flight to accomodate teams of different levels of skill. 
 

Thursday Daytime League - 9:30 am
A fun, social mixed league. Teams and positions are assigned by the coordinator on

Thursday Night Open Curling - 6:30 pm & 8:30 pm
A choose your own team league open to any club members. We have two flights to accomodate teams of different levels of skill.


Friday Mixed Social 6:30 pm & 8:00 pm
A place for fun, relaxed curling. We play six end games and have two draw times at 6:30 pm & 8:30 pm. There will be 3 draws in the season. Players may choose their own mixed team or sign up as couples to play together or individually. You can play in one or all draws.
  


Saturday Mixed Doubles - 9:00 am
A fun, social league. Sign up with your choice of partner. There are three draws a season. Games are 1 1/2 hours long.
 


Sunday Junior Curling - 1:00 pm
A mix of instruction and curling.
